PTSA is always looking for volunteers to help make our school a better place. All of our opportunities have lots of flexibility. Most of the tasks can be completed virtually. Volunteer Coordinator
A crucial role in our PTSA that helps identify, recruit, schedule, and manage volunteers for PTSA programs and events, fostering a culture of service and building strong community engagement at CMS.
Hospitality Chair
Leads the planning and execution of hospitality and appreciation events that make teachers, staff, and volunteers feel recognized, supported, and celebrated throughout the school year.
Spirit Wear Chair
Our students love showing their school pride! This role is responsible for maintaining and managing the spirit wear inventory, organizing sales at events and online, and ensuring families have fun, accessible ways to purchase and wear CMS gear throughout the year.
Grant Writer
Grants are another opportunity to fund our PTSA. This volunteer would search for and apply for grants. This position is primarily virtual.
Events Chair
PTSA organizes several events throughout the year to support our school community.
We are looking for an Event Coordinator to help plan and manage in-person events, and Event Volunteers to assist during events and Spirit Nights by welcoming families, supporting logistics, and helping create a fun and inclusive environment.
Graphic Design
PTSA could use a graphic designer to assist with visuals for the website, social media, documents, spirit wear, etc. This position is primarily virtual.
