Open Opportunities
PTSA is always looking for volunteers to help make our school a better place. All of our opportunities have lots of flexibility. Most of the tasks can be completed virtually. We act as a team and support each other whenever needed. If you have a talent that’s not listed below and would like to contribute, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We want you on our team. Spanish Translator
Many of our families are native Spanish speakers. This position would translate all of our communications to Spanish. They may also translate at events or meetings.
Fundraising Chair
PTSA supports CMS by purchasing items for the school, students, and teachers. This position would work with the board to explore and organize fundraising opportunities.
Spirit Wear Chair
Our students love to show their school spirit. This position would maintain and manage spirit wear inventory. This position would also organize spirit wear sales.
Grant Writer
Grants are another opportunity to fund our PTSA. This volunteer would search for and apply for grants. This position is primarily virtual.
Events
PTSA hosts several events each year. The event coordinator would help organize virtual and in-person events. Event volunteers would attend events to help serve our community.
Graphic Design
PTSA could use a graphic designer to assist with visuals for the website, social media, documents, spirit wear, etc. This position is primarily virtual.
Community Partners
Community partnerships and sponsorship are another opportunity to not only fund our PTSA, but offer new resources to our members. This volunteer would established partnerships & sponsorship with local businesses.
